Project Responsibilities

Lead designer, responsible for course layout and design of golf course features; prepares golf course drawings; monitors golf course construction and shapes golf course features; advises clients with regards to agronomy, turfgrass issues, and irrigation, including grow-in guidance.

Qualifications and Experience

Mr. Wagner brings a very diverse background in golf course construction and maintenance to Hanse Golf Course Design. After completing his degree in landscape architecture Mr. Wagner served as construction foreman on several golf course projects, as well as serving as Assistant Golf Course Superintendent at Wilmington Country Club. His experience in construction and maintenance suits him ideally to be involved in all facets of our construction supervision and shaping activities. His training in landscape architecture provides him with the technical expertise to prepare our in house drawings, as well as construction grading plans.
